Chianti Classico DOCG 2014 La Sala

The Chianti Classico La Sala was born from the selection of the ten most suitable hectares within the over thirty hectares of property, divided into two different corporate bodies with a different terroir.

It is mainly obtained from Sangiovese and Merlot grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand. After a short period of maceration, fermentation at controlled temperature follows, with the use of spontaneous yeasts. The wine ages for 14 months, partly in large French oak barrels and partly in steel for 14 months, remaining in bottle for a further 6 months before being marketed.

Wine with an intense ruby red color, it releases a fresh bouquet of red fruits and undergrowth on the nose and on the palate, with citrus notes and a delicate finish with a soft tannin and a pleasant flavor.

Particularly suitable for pairing with meats and cheeses, it is recommended to accompany roasts and first courses based on red meat.
