Chianti Colli Senesi DOCG 2018 Tenute Silvio Nardi

The Chianti Colli Senesi of Silvio Nardi was born in vineyards located on the Casale del Bosco estate, located between the gentle valleys of the Orcia, in the production area of the Chianti Colli Senesi, in the extraordinary panorama of Montalcino.

It is mainly produced with Sangiovese grapes and with Merlot and Colorino grapes, harvested only by hand. The different varieties are vinified separately with a temperature controlled fermentation for about 13-15 days. Subsequently the wine ages in Allier oak barrels for about 4 months, before being bottled.

It is characterized by a bright ruby red color. The nose opens with an intense bouquet, with aromas of red fruits, enriched with pleasant hints of violet. On the palate it is full-bodied, pleasantly fresh and young. The wine has soft tannins and a persistent finish.

Perfect to accompany first courses with meat sauce, it is ideal in combination with red and roasted meats.
