Description

The Carmenere Reserva is a red wine produced in Chile by the winery Casa la Tenca with Carménère grapes grown in the Colchagua Valley, one of the most prestigious and dynamic wine regions in the country. The microclimate influenced by the Pacific breezes and Andean winds allows for slow maturation of the grapes, ensuring wines with intense color and excellent freshness.

The wine ages for five months in contact with wood, with 75% in barrels, using 80% French oak and 20% American oak, with 25% new wood. This process imparts structure and complexity, while maintaining the fruity and juicy profile of the grape variety.

It appears with an intense ruby color with violet reflections. On the nose, it offers aromas of strawberry and raspberry well integrated with herbal notes, spices, and cedar wood. On the palate, it is juicy, fresh, and round, with an elegant texture and a delicate woody note on the finish.

Perfect with red meat, pork, offal, and pasta with rich sauces.
