Description

Colli Aprutini Pecorino Centovie by Umani Ronchi is a white wine produced in the Abruzzo region. The grapes come from the Centovie estate, located in Roseto degli Abruzzi. The vineyards are grown on deep, clay-loam soils with a sandy component and gravel.

The harvest is carried out by hand in the first ten days of September to preserve the grapes' high acidity and perfect health. The grapes undergo gentle pressing and the free-run must is separated from the press must, cooled and statically settled. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a temperature of 16-18°C for 20 days. The wine then matures for about 12 months in cement and another 5 months in bottle before release.

The wine shows a straw yellow color with greenish hues. On the nose, it offers fresh aromas of white fruit and citrus, with mineral notes. On the palate, it is fresh and savory, with good acidity and a long, persistent finish.

It pairs perfectly with fish dishes, seafood, and fresh cheeses.
