Description

The Colli Tortonesi Marine of Marina Coppi rises partly from the Gabetto vineyard, near Castellania, and partly from an old vineyard located in Madonnina, in the municipality of Carezzano, in the province of Alessandria.

It is produced entirely from Favorita grapes, harvested manually in boxes in the cooler hours of the morning, so as to preserve the varietal aromas. After a soft pressing of the whole grapes, the fermentation takes place slowly in steel at a controlled temperature of 15 ° C. The wine ages for 6 months on noble lees in stainless steel tanks and in the bottle for another 6 months before being released onto the market.

The Marina Coppi Marine is pale yellow in color. The nose has a bouquet of great finesse and intensity, characterized by notes of Renetta apple, peach and wild herbs. On the palate it is full and soft, with excellent persistence.

Perfect with vegetables, omelettes and goat cheeses, it offers the best of itself served with fish-based first courses and shellfish.

The wine is dedicated to the two marinas of the family: Marina Coppi the grandmother and the granddaughter Marina Bellocchio born on the eve of the first harvest.
