Description

The Ribolla Gialla from Tenuta Villanova is a white wine made from 100% native Ribolla Gialla grapes, sourced from vineyards located in the Collio area, in Friuli Venezia Giulia. The terrain, composed of marly-arenaceous flysch transformed into the characteristic "ponca", imparts minerality and freshness to the wine. The grapes are harvested manually, selecting the best bunches.

The vinification involves aging exclusively in steel with maturation on the lees for four months, during which frequent batonnage is performed. This process helps preserve the varietal aromas and gives the wine greater complexity and structure while maintaining liveliness and freshness.

It appears straw-yellow with delicate greenish reflections. On the nose, it offers a fine and discreet floral bouquet with notes of green apple. On the palate, it is dry, fragrant, and well-balanced, with a pleasant acidity that enhances its drinkability.

It is ideal as an aperitif with fish crudités and sushi, or with sardines, fried fish, and fish eggs.
