Columbia Valley AVA Riesling Kung Fu Girl 2021 Charles Smith Wines
Description
An unconventional Riesling, created by an unconventional oenologist. So we could define the Kung fu girl , a Riesling born one evening in which Charles Smith consumed Chinese takeaway food while watching the famous duel between Lucy Liu and Uma Thurman in Kill Bill.
Vinified in purity inside steel containers, in order to keep its fruit and freshness characteristics intact, it is enriched with breadth and structure, remaining for 2 months in barrique on its lees.
The nose is centered on fruity notes of white-fleshed peach and citrus, supported by a persuasive minerality. On the palate it is energetic and fresh, with an elegance comparable to that of the Rieslings of Germany.
Perfect to serve with typical Asian dishes, it goes well with seafood appetizers based on molluscs and crustaceans.
