Description

The Mandriolo Rosso from MorisFarms is a Tuscan wine made from a blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot. It expresses a Mediterranean character that combines freshness and structure. It is designed to offer a harmonious and accessible approach, suitable for multiple daily consumption occasions.

The grapes are harvested between the second and third week of September. After harvesting, fermentation takes place in glass-lined concrete tanks at controlled temperature, with pump-overs twice a day. The maceration lasts for fifteen days, after which the wine is bottled and left to age for three months before being marketed.

In appearance, it presents a transparent and lively red color. The nose reveals intense aromas of black cherry, morello cherry, and raspberry, while the palate is full, warm, and persistent, with a balanced sip that highlights the fruity component and overall softness.

Ideal with flavorful dishes like crostini with anchovies and mascarpone, or with pasta dishes or light meats.
