Description
The French red wine of Clos de la Grande Grange was born in Côtes du Rhône in the Rhône valley, south of Valence.
It consists of Grenache and Syrah grapes first undergo a 24-hour cold pre-fermentation maceration. Vinification follows with pumping, punching down and delestage. After assembling the wine, it ages in steel for a few months.
Light ruby red in colour, it reveals hints of blueberries, spices, aromatic herbs and poppy on the nose. The sip is fresh, with round tannins and a pleasant finish.
It is excellent in combination with roast lamb, duck breast and roasted or stewed game.
