Description
The Dolcetto d'Alba by Bruno Giacosa is a red wine from Piedmont, made from Dolcetto grapes grown on the hills of the Langhe, in the heart of the Cuneo province. This wine represents one of the most authentic expressions of the Dolcetto grape, thanks to the combination of the winemaking tradition of the winery and the unique characteristics of the territory.
The vinification occurs in red, with fermentation at controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks, in order to preserve the freshness and primary aromas of the grape variety. The wine then ages in oak barrels for 2 months and finally for another 3 months in the bottle.
In the glass, it presents an intense ruby red color. On the nose, it offers a fruity and vinous bouquet, with notes of ripe red fruits. On the palate, it is dry, balanced, and well-structured, with a pleasantly almondy finish.
Ideal for pairing with Piedmontese cuisine, such as cured meat appetizers, first courses with meat sauces, and grilled red meats.
