Etna DOC Rosso Vulkà, Cerasuolo di Vittoria DOCG Hybla

This package contains two red wines from the Nicosia winery, perfect as a gift for Sicilian wine lovers or for those who want to discover two great reds from Etna.

Etna Rosso Vulka is mainly produced with Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio grapes. After a 10-day maceration in contact with the skins, the must ferments for 3 weeks at a controlled temperature. After a short passage in steel and tonneaux, the wine ages for 5-6 months in the bottle before being placed on the market. Lively ruby red in color, the nose opens with an intense and complex bouquet of red fruit and spices. On the palate it is mineral and balanced, with soft tannins that make this wine round and well structured.

Cerasuolo di Vittoria Hybla is produced with Nero d'Avola and Frappato grapes, which macerate for 10 days in contact with the skins. The must ferments at a controlled temperature for 3 weeks, and is then aged in steel, in tonneaux and for at least 6 months in the bottle. The wine has a cherry red color, with lively purple reflections. The nose opens with intense fruity aromas, including raspberries and blackberries. On the palate it is soft, balanced and well structured.
