Description

The Franciacorta Extra Brut of the Camossi winery comes from vineyards between the ages of 15 and 25 located in the municipalities of Erbusco, Paratico and Provaglio d'Iseo, in the silt-clay morainic soils of the western area of the Brescia wine region famous for its excellence sparkling wine.

The variety of soils and the climatic conditions of the soils give Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes a heterogeneous aromatic set, which is an optimal characteristic so that the cuvée can express itself in all its complexity. After soft pressing and vinification, a period of aging on the lees of at least 24 months follows, to which are added a further 3 months of aging in bottle after disgorgement.

Of an intense straw yellow color, it has a fine and persistent perlage. The nose reveals hints of white flowers, apple, yellow pulp fruit and yeasts, with pleasant notes of wild strawberries conferred by Pinot Noir. In the mouth it is fresh and well-structured.

Excellent as an aperitif alone or served in combination with appetizers, it also goes perfectly with shellfish and molluscs.
