Description
The Friuli Colli Orientali Ribolla Gialla di Rosazzo di Ronchi di Manzano comes from vineyards located in the municipality of Rosazzo, in the province of Udine.
It is the result of only Ribolla Gialla grapes, which are harvested late by hand. The must ferments in large wooden barrels, remaining in contact with its skins for 5 months. Maturation follows in smaller French oak barrels until bottling.
The Ribolla Gialla di Rosazzo di Ronchi di Manzano appears pale straw yellow to the eye. The nose expresses hints of hawthorn and wisteria, accompanied by warmer notes of yellow peach and cedar and hints of wood. In the mouth it is fresh and dry, with an admirable compositional balance.
Excellent as an aperitif, this white wine prefers all fish dishes.
