Friuli Colli Orientali DOC Spìule Chardonnay Giulio Locatelli Riserva 2013 Tenuta di Angoris

Chardonnay Riserva Giulio Locatelli Spìule was born in the vineyards of the Tenuta di Angoris, located in the DOC of the Colli Orientali Friulani.

This wine is obtained exclusively from Chardonnay grapes, selected and harvested in mid-September. After the fermentation phases, 80% of the product is left to rest for 10 months in stainless steel containers, while 20% ages in tonneaux and concrete tanks. Subsequently the reassembled wine ages in steel and then for 8 months in glass, before being put on the market.

Chardonnay Riserva Giulio Locatelli Spìule is characterized by a golden yellow color. The nose reaches very intense, with notes of overripe peach, yogurt and custard to delight the nose, with mineral aftertaste. In the mouth it is shown an elegant and soft wine, with a good flavor and a strong acidity.

Excellent with oily or baked fish. It is interesting the pairing with white meats with sauces.
