Description

Sauvignon Blanc Turranio is a white wine produced by Bosco del Merlo, made from pure Sauvignon Blanc grapes grown in Friuli, the result of careful clonal selection and single-parcel harvest management. This approach allows the grape variety's many nuances to shine through, combining freshness, structure, and aromatic complexity.

The grapes, harvested in multiple phases, are vinified separately with slow fermentation at low temperatures to preserve the aromatic character. The wine is then matured for several months in stainless steel on its fine lees, developing elegance, balance, and greater expressive depth.

It shows a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. On the nose, it reveals an intense and distinctive aromatic profile, with notes of cantaloupe, passion fruit, tomato leaf, grapefruit, and rose. The palate is dry, bold, and persistent, marked by remarkable refinement and elegance.

It is an ideal match for vegetarian first courses, shellfish, prosciutto crudo, and medium-aged cheeses.
