Description

The Isonzo Cabernet Sauvignon of Cormòns rises from the vineyards of the fertile Isonzo plain, within the Gorizia municipality of Cormòns.

It is produced with Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, whose fermentation takes place with maceration in contact with the skins for 2 weeks. After racking, the wine ages in large oak barrels.

It appears of an intense bright red color with light garnet hues. On the nose it is slightly herbaceous, with notes of ripe wild fruits and dried plums to complete the picture. The taste is complex and structured, which insists on notes of cinnamon and cloves and closes on a pleasantly spicy finish.

Perfect for a pasta seasoned with game ragù, it is ideal in the company of roasts and grilled red meats.
