Description
Cibolo Monastrell is a red wine produced in south-eastern Spain. It is made from 100% Monastrell grapes sourced from the oldest vineyards of Bodegas Alceño, grown on calcareous and stony soils at an altitude between 600 and 800 meters. The yields are very low, ensuring aromatic concentration and structure in the wine.
The winemaking process includes aging for 9–10 months in French and American oak barrels, allowing the wine to develop complexity and harmony while preserving the varietal character of Monastrell.
Visually, it displays a deep cherry color. On the nose, it offers aromas of ripe fruit well integrated with notes of new wood and hints of vanilla. On the palate, it is extremely expressive, balanced, full-bodied, and with a long finish that enhances the interplay between structure and softness.
Perfect to pair with red meats, grilled dishes, ribs, or spicy foods.
