Lacrima di Morro d'Alba DOC Querciantica 2016 Velenosi

The Lacrima di Morro d'Alba Queciantica di Velenosi was born in the vineyards located in the Municipality of San Marcello, in the province of Ancona.

It is produced exclusively with Lacrima grapes, harvested around the middle of September. After destemming, the grapes ferment in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. The maceration on the skins lasts about 20 days with daily pumping over, to preserve the fruity and floral scents characteristic of this grape variety.

Lacrima di Morro d'Alba Querciantica is characterized by a deep ruby red color with violet reflections. The nose is intense, with fruity hints of strawberries and morello cherries enriched with pleasant floral notes of violet and rosebuds. On the palate it is soft, slightly tannic, with slight herbaceous hints, in perfect harmony with the olfactory sensations.

Perfect to accompany red meats and cold cuts, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
