Description

The Langhe Nebbiolo Autin 'd Madama by Simone Scaletta was born in the Langhe, a hilly area located in southern Piedmont.

It is produced with 100% Nebbiolo grapes, macerated with the skins in tanks at controlled temperature for about 6 days. Following racking, the wine undergoes the alcoholic fermentation process in steel for 15 days, then it is placed in second and third passage barriques for malolactic fermentation at a constant temperature of 20 ° C for 2 months. The wine then ages in barriques for 6 months and for 4 months in large barrels. After a period of settling in steel tanks for a few months, it is bottled without filtration and rests for another 3 months.

Autin 'd Madama is a wine with an intense ruby red color with light garnet reflections. The nose opens with fresh aromas of wild rose and red fruits. On the palate it has a generous body, diluted by pleasant velvety notes, a pleasant sensation of freshness and a good persistence that balance its complexity.

Perfect to accompany first courses with meat sauce, this wine is ideal in combination with roasts and red meats.
