Description

The Nebbiolo by Cascina Corte is a certified organic red wine made from a selection of Nebbiolo grapes sourced from various vineyards located at an altitude of 480 meters, facing south, on the hills of Dogliani. The calcareous and tuffaceous soils, combined with the variable age of the vines between 7 and 21 years, contribute to the complexity and elegance of this wine.

The grapes are hand-harvested between the end of September and the beginning of October. In the winery, fermentation occurs naturally without the addition of yeasts, with manual pump-overs and without filtration or clarification. The wine ages for 18-20 months in large oak barrels, followed by an additional period in the bottle.

In appearance, it shows a slightly thin garnet red color at the edge of the glass. On the nose, varietal aromas of wilted rose, violet, and wet earth emerge, followed by delicate spicy notes. On the palate, it is soft and refined, with silky tannins that provide pleasant drinkability and roundness.

Due to its versatility, it pairs perfectly with red meats such as braises, stews, or boiled dishes, but its dynamic pleasantness makes it ideal for accompanying the entire meal.
