Description

Giacomo Fenocchio's Langhe Nebbiolo was born in vineyards located in the wonderful lands of Monforte d'Alba, in the heart of Piedmont, from a company that concentrates its production around the great red wines.

It is produced exclusively with Nebbiolo grapes, harvested in mid-October. Fermentation takes place in contact with the skins, without adding yeasts, in stainless steel tanks for 10 days. Subsequently the wine ages in barriques for 10 months, and for a further period in the bottle.

This Nebbiolo is characterized by an intense ruby red color, with garnet reflections. The nose opens with an intense and fruity bouquet, with elegant aromas of plum and cherry, enriched with pleasant spicy notes of licorice and dog rose. On the palate it is dry pleasantly dry and full-bodied. The wine has a tannic and harmonious structure, with a delicately spicy aftertaste.

Perfect to accompany all courses, it is ideal in combination with appetizers, first courses, white meats and aged cheeses.
