Description
What type of wine is it
Langhe Arneis Sirena di Ca’ Viola is a still white wine made from Arneis grapes grown in the Langhe. This wine displays a straightforward and easy-to-read profile, with a warm palate, medium structure, and a fairly persistent finish.
Where does it come from
It originates from the rolling hills of the Langhe in Piedmont. Here, Arneis is harvested and vinified to preserve a clear fruit expression and a balanced drinking experience, reflecting the wine’s style.
How is it produced
The Arneis grapes are picked in the first half of September. Fermentation takes place in steel at controlled temperature for 10–12 days with indigenous yeasts. Aging continues in steel for 4–5 months, with no oak aging.
Tasting notes
In the glass, it appears straw yellow. On the nose, there are aromas of apple and pear, accompanied by a hint of chamomile. On the palate, it delivers warmth, medium structure, and a fairly noticeable persistence, leaving a clean finish.
Food pairings
At the table, it pairs well with white meats and seafood first courses. It’s also recommended with pasta dishes topped with white ragù, where the medium structure and fruity profile complement the dish without weighing down the sip.
When to serve it
This white is suitable for convivial occasions and lunches where a clear and straightforward wine is desired. Served well chilled, it highlights the fruit aromas and chamomile note, keeping the sip neat and easy-drinking.
