Description

In that ancient farmhouse nestled among the vineyards in La Ferriera, which responds to the province of Latina, the Casale del Giglio winery comes alive. Among its labels, this pure Sauvignon Blanc too.

For this grape, the processing in the field pays particular attention to the leaf system, which must be well present and healthy in order to protect the bunches from excessive and harmful solar radiation. In the first days of September the grapes are harvested and softly pressed. It carries out its vinification process in steel containers and is bottled between January and February following the harvest.

Straw yellow in color, it shows herbaceous notes of sage and nettle on the nose, well inserted against the background of elderberry and peach. The taste is intense, soft but fresh, well-structured and with a long fruity persistence.

Ideal to accompany an omelette with onions.
