Lazio IGT Syrah Tellus 2015 Falesco

Lazio Syrah Tellus di Falesco was born with the aim of best representing the great potential of this grape variety in the Lazio vineyard.

It is produced with 100% Syrah grapes, cold pre-waxed for 4-5 days in order to best enhance the natural characteristics of freshness and fragrance. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 25-27 ° C. Subsequently the wine stays for 5 months in second passage barriques, where it undergoes malolactic fermentation and matures before being bottled.

Tellus has an intense red color with violet reflections. The nose opens with hints of fresh cherry, enriched with spicy notes that blend with great balance with vanilla nuances deriving from the passage in wood. On the palate it is enveloping and silky, with soft tannins and a pleasantly rich and persistent finish.

Perfect to accompany red meat dishes, it is ideal in combination with game and noble poultry.
