The Lost Lager of the Brewdog brewery
Lost Lager is a Scottish beer from the young Brewdog brewery in Aberdeenshire. It was founded in 2007 by two young friends and beer enthusiasts, James and Watt, who thanks to a new business model and a bit of madness managed to make the Brewdog brand famous around the world.
How is Lost Lager produced?
This lager beer is brewed with yeast strains from the Weihenstephan brewery in Bavaria and with Saphir and Spalter hops.
Sight, nose, eye and palate
At the olfactory level, Lost Lager is characterized by fresh and citrine notes of lemon and lime. The taste is light, with hints of bread crust deriving from the malt, well balanced by the herbaceous hops and with a spicy note on the finish.
