Description

The San Sisto Arkezia mold represents a very particular product produced by the Fazi Battaglia company. In fact, in this wine, Verdicchio grapes meet Botrytis Cinerea, drawing inspiration from French sweet wines, creating very interesting organoleptic results.

Verdicchio grapes are harvested between the months of November and December, to select the clusters well attacked by noble rot. after a fermentation in steel, the wine then ages in small oak barrels for fourteen / sixteen months, followed by at least six months of aging in glass.

It is characterized by an intense gold color. The nose offers sweet aromas of ripe apricot and acacia honey, later joined by notes of broom, sage and hay. In the mouth it shows a refined softness and a delicacy, due to the residual sugars, which gives complexity to the structure.

Perfect as a meditation wine, excellent in combination with fresh cheeses and foie gras.
