Description
The sparkling wine Petit Lot Mousseux is produced in Australia by Windows Estate, a winery located and managed by Chris & Jo Davies. The wine is a pure Chenin Blanc, harvested strictly by hand.
The grapes are gently pressed and traditionally vinified as a white wine, with aging on the lees for 3 months. The dry base wine was bottled and inoculated for secondary fermentation in the bottle, where the wine remains for 2 years.
Straw yellow in color, the nose reveals elderflower and green apple aromas. On the palate, it is fresh, lively, and creamy.
Excellent as an aperitif, this wine pairs very well with seafood starters, fresh cheeses, and salads made with pasta, grains, or rice.
