Description

This Mercurey Vieilles Vignes - La Charmée from Domaine Gault is made exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes, coming from old vines that give the wine depth and complexity.

The vinification process includes fermentation in stainless steel tanks, followed by 12 months of aging in French oak barrels. This process allows the wine to develop a perfect harmony between the freshness of the fruit and the notes imparted by the wood, enriching it with spicy nuances and great finesse.

Its elegance is expressed through an intense ruby red color, anticipating a refined and structured aromatic profile. On the nose, notes of red and black fruits stand out, accompanied by delicate floral hints, spices, and accents of toasted wood. On the palate, it reveals itself as structured and complex, with velvety tannins that blend harmoniously with the fruit, offering a long and persistent finish.

It pairs beautifully with red meats, game, and aged cheeses.
