Description
Merlot was born on the hills of the DOCG Conegliano Valdobbiadene area, home to excellent wines.
It is produced with 100% Merlot grapes, harvested manually in late September and early October. Vinification takes place in stainless steel with maceration for 10 - 12 days. Then the wine ages in Slavonian oak barrels for 8 - 9 months.
Characterized by a deep ruby red color, the nose has a characteristic aroma of the grape variety, intense and fruity, with light herbaceous hints. In the mouth it is soft, rightly tannic. Overall very harmonious.
Merlot is a whole meal wine, particularly suitable to accompany roasts, game and noble poultry, such as ducks, pigeons and guinea fowl.
