Description

This alcohol-free Merlot is born from Giesen’s expertise in producing high-quality wines in New Zealand. After traditional vinification, the wine undergoes a delicate process of alcohol removal, preserving the aromas and varietal characteristics typical of Merlot.

The production involves the use of rotary cone technology, which gently separates the aroma, alcohol, and body of the wine. The aroma is then reintegrated into the base wine, with the addition of a small quantity of fine grape juice to achieve a perfect balance between freshness and structure.

On the nose, it opens with delicate hints of crushed blackberry and wild herbs. On the palate, notes of red fruits and plum combine with nuances of toasted oak, offering a light and refreshing wine, with an elegant structure and fine, silky tannins on the finish.

Ideal for pairing with herb-infused veal schnitzel, served with rustic potatoes and crispy salad.
