Minervois AOC Château Portal 2013 Paul Herpe et Fils

Paul Herpe & Fils' Minervois Rosso Château Portal was born in the vineyards located in the Languedoc-Roussillon area, home of French gastronomic and wine traditions.

It is produced from Syrah, Grenache and Carignan grapes all carefully selected and harvested by expert hands. A part of the grapes undergoes a fermentation that takes place at controlled temperature, another part instead undergoes a carbonic maceration. The assembly of the grapes thus obtained makes the wine even more complex, rich and elegant.

The Minervois Rosso Château Porta l is characterized by a bright red color. The nose opens with an elegant bouquet of ripe red fruits, enriched with delicate hints of licorice and cinnamon. On the palate it is complex, harmonious and pleasantly intense.

Perfect to combine with cold cuts and cold cuts, it is excellent to accompany grilled red meat with a side dish of seasonal grilled vegetables.
