Morellino di Scansano DOCG 2015 Melini

This Morellino di Scansano was born in the vineyards of the Melini company, located in the hilly area of the province of Grosseto, in Tuscany.

It is mainly produced with Sangiovese and complementary grapes, harvested entirely by hand. During the maceration phase, which lasts about 20 days, the wine undergoes frequent pumping over. Fermentation takes place at a constant temperature of 25 ° C and the evolutionary phase involves a period in French oak barrels, which gives harmony to the product.

Melini's Morellino di Scansano has an intense ruby red color. An intense fruity aroma predominates on the nose. On the palate it shows a light tannins that accompanies a warm and austere flavor.

This wine finds its perfect union with appetizers or stewed red meats.
