Description

I Perazzi is different from the typical Morelino of Scansano, consisting of a blend that contains the typical varieties of the Mediterranean area and demonstrates greater expressive capacity than the Maremma terroir. The name derives from a fruit that resembles pear and that grows inside the estate.

It is obtained from 85% of Sangiovese grapes which in Maremma takes the name of Morellino, with additions of Syrah very well known in France, Spanish Alicante and other local varieties. Fermentation carried out only with indigenous yeasts provides a maceration period of 15-20 days. Part of the wine ages in French oak barriques for 6 months.

Wine with an intense ruby red color, it fascinates with its hints of ripe cherry and licorice. In the mouth it is a wine with a soft and fruity consistency, with light mineral sensations.

To be combined with pasta seasoned with tomato sauce, it is ideal to serve in the company of a good pizza or a leg of roasted turkey.
