Description
This Cabernet Sauvignon was born in the splendid vineyards of the Robert Mondavi Winery company, located in the famous Californian Napa Valley.
It is mainly made with Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and a small part of Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes, carefully picked and selected. After a maceration lasting about 25 days, the wine is left to ferment in oak barrels. In the same containers, it is then left to evolve for about 16 months, in order to amplify its organoleptic characteristics, in harmony with the American wine culture. Bottling and aging in glass follows.
This Cabernet Sauvignon has a very intense ruby red color. The nose has an interesting odorous component, with a herbaceous scent to pave the way for fresh hints of blackberry and flowers. In the mouth it has a great structure, with a rather soft tannin that favors the chocolate aromas that emerge in a persistent finish.
Perfect with elaborate dishes such as grilled red meats, roasts, game and well-aged fresh cheeses.
