Description
The Garnacha from Viña Zorzal is a red wine produced in the heart of the Ribera Baja of Navarra, in the historic town of Corella. The grapes come from bush vine vineyards spread across four municipalities, each offering different soil and climate characteristics. The project reflects the company's commitment to native varieties, particularly Garnacha, and to sustainable farming practices, a result of the expertise accumulated over two generations of the Sanz family.
The winemaking process follows an artisanal and environmentally friendly approach: the grapes are hand-harvested at the optimal stage of ripeness in each vineyard, transported in crates to the winery, and subjected to gentle pressing and delicate pumping over. This method allows the maximum preservation of fruit integrity and reflects the diversity of the soils and microclimates of origin.
In appearance, it shows a medium-intensity, bright ruby color. The nose reveals intense and clean aromas of red fruits like raspberry, strawberry, and cherry, enriched by notes of black pepper and earthy hints. On the palate, it is dry and fresh, with soft tannins and a medium body; the red fruits are accompanied by mineral accents and a long, harmonious finish.
Perfectly paired with roasted or grilled white meats.
