Nebbiolo d'Alba DOC Trono 2014 Massucco

The Nebbiolo d'Alba Trono from the Massucco winery was born in the heart of the vineyards located in the terroir of Castagnito Roero, in Piedmont.

It is produced from pure Nebbiolo grapes selected and harvested entirely by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages in oak barrels for about 12 months before being bottled.

Nebbiolo d'Alba Tron o is characterized by an intense ruby red color, tending to garnet after aging. The nose opens with an elegant bouquet of red fruit, with hints of raspberries, wild strawberries and geranium, enriched with spicy notes of cinnamon and vanilla. On the palate it is dry, well structured and pleasantly acidic, giving a good balance between elegance and harmony.

Perfect to accompany pasta dishes with meat sauce, it is ideal if combined with roast meats and mixed grilled meats and vegetables.
