Description
The Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva Sotto Casa is a red wine produced by Podere Boscarelli, a historic winery located in Cervognano di Montepulciano, Tuscany. Founded in 1962, the vineyard was born from Egidio Corradi's dream of creating wines that highlight the character of the territory with elegance and personality. The vineyards are situated on rocky soils rich in red alluvial clay, which give the wine structure and depth.
Made from a blend of Sangiovese Prugnolo Gentile, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot, each grape variety is vinified separately, with fermentation in oak vats and the use of indigenous yeasts. After a maceration that can last up to 18 days, the wine is aged for a period between 28 and 32 months in Slavonian and French oak barrels. After the final blending, it rests in the bottle for a few months before being marketed.
With an intense garnet red color, this wine presents a complex aromatic profile, with notes of ripe red fruits, slight nuances of green pepper, leather, tobacco, and delicate balsamic sensations. On the palate, it is elegant and enveloping, with a savory and well-balanced structure, enriched with hints of ripe black cherry, licorice, and smooth tannins.
It pairs perfectly with important dishes such as braised meats and roasts, enhancing their flavors with its refined complexity.
