Description

Leccino Extra Virgin Olive Oil obtained from one of the most widespread varieties in Italy, cultivated in the estate of Castelnuovo Berardenga in the heart of Chianti Classico. The plant is elegant and vigorous, with good and consistent fruiting; it tolerates cold and pest attacks well, while the olives ripen rather early, ensuring consistent quality and regional typicity.

The olives are hand-picked at the beginning of veraison, at the peak of polyphenol concentration, and processed separately by cultivar. After removing the pit, extraction is carried out exclusively from the pulp within a few hours of harvest, followed by gentle filtration and storage in steel tanks under inert gas pressure to preserve freshness and stability, with final bottling in dark glass.

Lime green in color with bright highlights, it displays a medium intensity profile with a balanced ratio between bitterness and pungency. On the nose, it is fresh and clean, with vegetal aromas of field grass and fresh vegetables; on the palate, green notes of almond, olive leaf, and garden herbs emerge, defining its elegance and harmony.

Ideal with delicately flavored dishes such as salads, mushrooms, raw or boiled fish, and white meats. It is recommended to store it away from light and heat sources at a constant temperature to maintain its qualities unaltered.
