Description
The Oltrepò Classic Method Pinot Nero Pas Dosè 1865 by Conte Vistarino was born in vineyards located on the Rocca de 'Giorgi estate, in the province of Pavia. 1865 is the year in which Count Carlo Vistarino produced his first Classic Method: history, wisdom and skill come together in this product to make it a sparkling wine with great personality and appeal.
It is produced with 100% Pinot Noir grapes, harvested entirely by hand. A first slow fermentation is followed by a second that ends with an aging of over 50 months on the lees, thanks to which it acquires greater harmony and complexity at the same time.
Conte Vistarino's 1865 is characterized by a straw yellow color with golden hues and a lively, fine and persistent perlage. The nose opens with a rich and complex bouquet, with delicate floral sensations supported by a pleasantly mineral background. On the palate it is dry and citrusy, with good harmony and structure, with an intense and savory finish.
This Blanc de Noir is perfect to accompany any meal, however it prefers aperitifs, dishes based on fish and shellfish.
