Orvieto DOC Tragugnano 2016 Sergio Mottura

Sergio Mottura's Orvieto Tragugnano originates in the Viterbo area of Civitella d'Agliano, from a careful selection of grapes from the vineyards that have given the best fruits in relation to the specific vintage.

The blend from which it derives is composed of Procanico, Verdello, Grechetto and Rupeccio grapes, the harvest of which takes place exclusively by hand. Once the alcoholic fermentation has ended, the wine remains to refine for some years enriching itself with personality and aromatic characteristics.

This wine has a straw yellow color with golden hues. The nose enchants with a sweet and persuasive bouquet, with notes of wild mustard and vanilla flowers that give way to more incisive hints of mint, thyme and sage. The sip is pleasantly dry and soft, of great complexity and persistence.

Perfect to serve as an aperitif or with appetizers based on vegetables and fresh cheeses, it goes well with local first courses and white meats.
