Description

The Chapelle de Haut-Bages Libéral is produced by the Château Haut-Bages Libéral, a cellar dating back to the 18th century. The Château recovers its maximum splendor with the Villars family, who have managed it since the 1980s.

The wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The grapes are vinified separately in thermocontrolled steel tanks. The aging takes place in French oak barriques, 20% new, and lasts 12 months.

Ruby red in color, it reveals aromas of red fruits, dark chocolate and vanilla on the nose. The sip is round and elegant, with an excellent structure and a persistent finish.

It goes very well with roast beef with vegetables.
