Description

The Syrah Hautes Pistes is a red wine produced by Aubert et Mathieu, made from Syrah grown on clay-limestone soils located in high-altitude vineyards. This special altitude ensures a slow ripening, giving the wine both freshness and aromatic complexity.

The winemaking involves carbonic maceration followed by 6 months of aging in oak barrels, a combination that imparts structure and a silky texture without compromising the varietal expression of the grape.

It presents a deep, ruby color with violet reflections, and on the nose, it offers intense aromas of blackcurrant and ripe black fruits, accompanied by a marked mineral note, a delicate hint of eucalyptus, and light spicy nuances that add elegance to its aromatic profile.

It pairs perfectly with hearty dishes such as beef steak, smoked ribs, or a mixed grill, enhancing intense flavors with great harmony.
