Primitivo di Manduria DOC Mandus 2019

The Pietrapura line was born from the collaboration between the Tuscan company Rocca delle Macìe and renowned Apulian companies, with the common aim of enhancing the native vines of Salento and creating wines that best express the territory. The union of their experiences and know-how have led to the creation of different types of wine with native grapes, including Mandus , a wonderful expression of Primitivo di Manduria Doc that represents the high range of production.

It is obtained from vineyards selected by the technicians of Rocca delle Macìe. The whole process, from vinification to bottling, takes place under the careful supervision of the oenologist of Rocca delle Macìe Luca Francioni. It is characterized by an evolution in French oak barrels lasting 4 months.

It has an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with a fruity scent of cherries and plums, combined with spicy hints of vanilla and chocolate. In the mouth it is a wine of great structure and with a good balance.

Perfect to accompany dishes based on meat sauce and game, it is ideal with aged cheeses.
