Description
This rosé wine from Masseria Surani is made exclusively from Negroamaro grapes, an indigenous variety that imparts elegance and structure. The climate and soil of the production area allow for the expression of the freshness and aromatic intensity of this wine, making it ideal for various drinking occasions.
The grapes undergo a brief maceration on the skins for about 8-10 hours to extract the delicate pink color and a light tannic component. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a low temperature, around 13°C, to preserve the fruity and floral aromas. After vinification, the wine ages for a few months in the bottle to achieve perfect balance.
In the glass, it shows a pale and bright pink color. The aromatic profile is fine and fragrant, with notes of rose and geranium intertwining with hints of pink grapefruit and pomegranate. On the palate, it is fresh and lively, with a pleasant sapidity that prolongs its persistence.
It pairs perfectly with stewed meats like classic meatballs in sauce, as well as fish dishes and fresh pasta, enhancing every bite with its lively freshness.
