Description
Colección Vivanco 4 Varietales Dulce de Invierno is a naturally sweet wine produced in the Rioja region from a blend of Tempranillo, Graciano, Garnacha and Mazuelo grapes grown in the Finca El Cantillo vineyard. This wine is born from a reinterpretation of the tradition of "supurados" wines, made from naturally dried grapes, and expresses a perfect balance of history, terroir and innovation.
The winemaking process includes a late winter harvest with manual picking of partially botrytised grapes, followed by gentle pressing and fermentation in French oak barriques. The wine is then aged for a long period in wood and later in bottle, developing complexity, aromatic concentration and finesse.
In the glass it shows a brilliant, light orange colour. On the nose it offers intense aromas of candied fruit, dried peach, orange marmalade and quince jelly, enriched by elegant floral notes and hints of cocoa. On the palate it is delicate and enveloping, with sweetness balanced by fresh acidity and a long, harmonious finish.
It pairs perfectly with foie gras, blue cheeses, seafood, and fruit-based or pastry desserts.
