Description

Romagna Sangiovese Passito Santodeno is born on the hills of Romagna, characterized by medium-textured soils that enhance the most intense and concentrated expression of Sangiovese. This wine represents a rich and enveloping version of the grape variety, able to combine depth, smoothness, and persistence, offering a distinctive profile with great personality.

The production involves a manual harvest of the grapes, which are then left to slowly dry in small crates to concentrate aromas and structure. This is followed by careful vinification and precise aging, aimed at enhancing the wine's color, aromatic complexity, and roundness.

In the glass, it displays an intense red color. The nose reveals rich and persistent aromas of red fruits, blackberry jam, and spicy notes. On the palate, it is full and concentrated, with soft tannins and a harmonious balance between sweetness and structure, resulting in a lingering and enveloping sensation.

It pairs perfectly with game dishes, roasted meats, and aged cheeses.
