Description
Pietramora is a Sangiovese di Romagna Riserva, produced by the Zerbina winery on the hills located halfway between Imola and Forlì.
Sangiovese di Romagna in purity, coming from vines grown both according to a sapling system and spurred cordon. The harvested grapes are macerated and fermented in steel and then refined in tonneaux.
It appears ruby red to the eye; the perfume changes from hints of blackberry to those of cherry, tobacco, spices and cocoa. In the mouth it is full-bodied, chiseled in a subtle tannic texture and in a fresh vein.
To be combined with a plate of local cold cuts.
