Description
This Grand Cru Classé of Château de Ferrand was born in Bordeaux, in some of the highest vineyards of the Saint-Émilion appellation, in organic conversion.
It consists of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, which are vinified in thermoregulated cement tanks. Aging takes place for 12 months in wooden barrels, of which about 30% are new.
Ruby red in color with garnet hues, the wine expresses a complex and elegant bouquet of ripe red fruit and spicy notes. The sip is fresh, with well integrated tannins and a long persistence.
Excellent with roasted meats, both red and game.
