Description
This Grand Vin of Château La Haye was born in Bordeaux, Saint-Estèphe. The history of the cellar dates back to 1557, when Janot Bernard of Leyssac bought the property and planted the first vines.
It consists of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot grapes, which are vinified in thermoregulated steel tanks, with a maceration of 7-14 days. Aging takes place for 12-14 months in wooden barrels, about half of which are new.
Ruby red in color with garnet hues, the wine expresses an elegant bouquet of red fruits and spicy notes. The sip is fresh, with ripe tannins and a long persistence.
Excellent with roasts.
