Description
The rosé wine Amai is produced by San Marzano in Puglia within the Salento denomination and from one of the most typical Apulian red grapes, Susumaniello.
The wine is made from grapes that are softly pressed with inert gases. There is an immediate separation of the first fraction of must, followed by white fermentation at 14-16°C. The wine is aged in stainless steel for 3 months.
Pink in color, the nose is dominated by aromas of raspberries, wild strawberries, blood orange, and Mediterranean scrub. The sip is dry and fresh, with decent persistence.
Ideal when paired with cured meats and semi-aged cheeses, and with flavorful cuisine, both seafood and vegetarian.
